Viagra Dosage
Recommended Dosages for Viagra are as follows:
- For most patients, the recommended dose of Viagra is 50mg taken as needed approximately one hour before sexual activity.
- Viagra may be taken anywhere from 4 hours to 0.5 hour before sexual activity.
- Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dosage of Viagra may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100mg or decreased to 25mg.
- For adults up to 65 years of age, Viagra 50mg is prescribed to be taken once a day, 30 minutes to 4 hours before intercourse. In situations where 50mg isn't effective, your doctor can prescribe 100mg to be taken once daily 30 minutes to 4 hours before intercourse.
- For men older than 65 years of age, Viagra 25mg is prescribed to be taken 30 minutes to 4 hours before intercourse. In some circumstances, men older then 65 may have their doses increased.
- In patients taking Protease Inhibitors, Food and Drug admnisration (U.S.A.) recommended dose is 25mg every other day.
- The maximum number of frequency recommended for the dosage of Viagra is only once per day. It is not for regular use. Take it only before sexual activity.
Instruction: Can be taken with or without food. Take 30 minutes to 4 hours before intercourse. Always start with the lowest effective dose.
