Date: 7th August 2009
Nine people were reportedly arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Quebec and were taken under police custody on the charge of facilitating the sale of fake Viagra over the internet and in sex shops.
However, sources reveal that the names of the arrested people are not released by the police and further Noël St-Hilaire, the Sgt. Of Royal Canadian Mounted Police states that the arrest of nine people on the charge of selling fake Viagra was the first operation in Quebec that targeted fake medicines. Altogether, the RCMP Sergeant makes it apparent that last year; the police officials embarked on different seizures in different places where ecstasy was produced and counterfeit Viagra was being manufactured.
