Manchester-Based Man Imprisoned For Selling Counterfeit Viagra

As soon as an inquiry led by the "Medicines and Health Care Productions Regulatory Authority" identified Martin Hickman, a man from Manchester, to be responsible for facilitating the sale of fake Viagra worth millions of pounds over the cyberspace, he was taken into custody and subsequently incarcerated for a period of two years.
According to sources, by selling India-made counterfeit Viagra, Martin Hickman accumulated a whopping amount of money to fund his lavish lifestyle. Further, investigative officers have made it apparent that through the website MSH World Traders; the accused had collected a turnover amounting to of £6.1million within a period of three years and had also gathered a profit sum of £3.4 million.
However, sources have also made it apparent that the 49-year-old accused Martin Hickman recently admitted at Southwark Crown Court that he was guilty of money laundering as well as selling unlicensed and counterfeit medicines.
Altogether, it is known that some of the counterfeit Viagra pills that Martin Hickman purchased from India and sold to European clients were provided the looks of Pfizer`s anti-impotence drug Viagra. Also, it has also been known that some of the men who purchased the fake Viagra pills soon got to know that they were cheated but couldn't complain due to sheer embarrassment.
The accused Martin Hickman states that he undertook the counterfeit Viagra business as a call centre on behalf of an India-based company and he had the conviction that selling unlicensed medicines similar to Viagra was lawful.
